GlowGuide is built to give you helpful skincare guidance without collecting more about you than it needs to. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use GlowGuide. GlowGuide is a US-focused informational tool. It is not a medical service.

The short version

• You don't need an account or login to use GlowGuide.
• The questionnaire runs in your browser.
• If you use the optional selfie step, your photo is analyzed locally on your device. It is not uploaded to a server and is not stored by us.
• We don't sell your personal data.
• Product links may be affiliate links, and clinic "consultation" actions are lead-generation. In the current version, these are placeholders.

What we collect

Questionnaire answers. Your responses power your report. They are processed in your browser to generate your recommendations.

Selfie (optional). If you choose the selfie step, the image is read and analyzed on your device. The photo itself is not sent to us, not uploaded to a server, and not stored by us.

Technical information. Basic information your browser normally shares when loading any website may be involved in serving the page. We don't use it to build a profile of you.

We don't ask for your name, email, or address to use the tool. If you contact us directly, we'll have whatever you choose to share in that message.

How we use information

• To generate your personalized report: routine, product picks, and clinic options.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the tool.
• To respond to you if you reach out.

We don't use your questionnaire answers or selfie to diagnose any condition. GlowGuide provides cosmetic guidance, not medical advice.

How information is shared

We don't sell your personal data.

Affiliate links. Some product links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Following one takes you to a third-party site with its own privacy practices.

Clinic consultations. Actions to request a clinic consultation are lead-generation, meant to connect you with a provider. In the current version, both the affiliate links and consultation actions are placeholders and are not yet live.

Service providers and law. We rely on standard web hosting to serve the site, and we route traffic through Cloudflare, a content-delivery and security network that processes visitor IP addresses and requests in order to deliver pages and block abusive traffic. We may also disclose information if genuinely required by law. That's the extent of it.

Cookies and analytics

The current version doesn't require you to sign in and isn't built to track you across the web. If we add analytics or cookies in the future, we'll disclose them here and, where appropriate, ask for your choice.

Your choices

• You can use the questionnaire without the selfie step.
• You can stop at any time. Since there's no account, closing the tab ends your session.
• Because your selfie is processed on your device and not stored by us, there's nothing on our end to delete.
• You can reach out with any privacy question (see below).

Children's privacy

GlowGuide is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a message to us, please contact us and we'll address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as GlowGuide evolves, especially as monetization or analytics features move from placeholder to live. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top.
